Be still, and know

I am always fascinated whenever I read the verse “He is the All-Hearing, All-Knowing.”

To me, it is an invitation to hear. Listen, then you will know. To know, one needs to listen. And to listen (properly), one needs to be still. Really still.

A note from Beshara Southeast Asia:

Dear All,

Beshara South-East Asia is very excited that the course dates are nearing and we are so happy some of you have confirmed to participate. Please note the venue for the Beshara SEA November courses will be changed to Cinere, complete address is Jalan Nias No 91, Block G, Cinere – Depok.

The Weekend Foundation Course will be non-residential while the 7-Day retreat course will be residential. Please see the revised brochure attached with the new venue, costs and map to location.

Weekend Foundation Course (Saturday, 17 November – Sunday, 18 November) – NON-RESIDENTIAL
Course to start at 9.00 am sharp with meditation. We expect students to arrive in Cinere latest by 8.30am for registration. For both days, the course will end at 8pm. Daily timetable will be made available during the course. Please bring your yoga

7-Day Retreat Course (Monday, 19 November – Sunday, 25 November) – RESIDENTIAL
As the intention is to start very early, 7am sharp with meditation, we expect registered students to ‘check-in’ by Sunday, 16th November evening. Again, daily timetable will be made available during the course.

A friend once asked: “if there is one quality that a leader must have, what is it?” I said, “He/she first and foremost must be a servant.”

I don’t know how my response came about, but I know I was being honest. I truly believe that to be a real leader, one must be a servant. They must serve.
